The Velvet Revolution will not arise

Two AIDS-specialist doctors have been arrested. They were suspected of preparing a « Velvet Revolution » from outside the country. They organized conferences on AIDS and training seminars abroad. These « dangerous » activists are accused of building up a revolution similar to those which arose in many Eastern Europe countries. They were arrested last June and have had not contacts outside the country since then. There is still a long way before change comes in Iran…
