A Belgian married gay couple has been emprisonned in Senegal. They have been sentenced to 2 year for « marriage and acts against nature ».
Richard Lambot and Moustapha Gueye, originally from Senegal, were able to marry in Belgium. In Senegal, which they visited aftter their wedding, gay rights and tolerance are far from being so advanced. Homosexuality is punishable by 1 to 5 years emprisonement.
